Georg Dieter Fehner – CEO & Maritime Visionary
Georg Dieter Fehner is the CEO of Port Energy Logistic GmbH in Hamburg, overseeing the growth, R&D, and strategic direction of the company. A highly experienced captain with a great master license, he manages ships of all sizes worldwide, except warships. He became the youngest captain ever at age 24 and currently holds the title of Commodore of the German Merchant Marine.

Since founding Port Energy Logistic GmbH in 2008, he serves as CEO, Director of the Research and Development Department, and Member of the Board. In 2022, he was elected Senator in the Federal Economic Senate in Berlin. He was awarded the “Vision Award for Environmental Protection” in 2019.
Vision & Objectives
Mr. Fehner is committed to cleaning the oceans of marine litter, adjusting the pH-rate against ocean acidification, producing potable water by desalination using a ZERO LIQUID DISCHARGE system, and addressing climate change. He aims to consolidate existing jobs and create thousands of new positions in the shipbuilding and membrane production industries.
